Share bus connector
This 2 pole WAGO connector “Share” on the rear side of the units is used by the master
to balance the DC power consumption between all units. It must not be connected
externally or used in a different way and must always remain plugged at all units to
ensure safe and proper operation of the electronic load cabinet. In case additional
power modules are added (where possible) to extend the available total power, the
Share bus connection must also be extended to integrate the additional unit(s). The
required wires are not included with the new slave, but it’s recommended to use the
wire type, same colour and same cross section.
1.9.11
“Sense” connector (remote sensing)
In order to compensate for voltage drops along the DC cables from the source to the
DC load, the Sense input can be connected to the source. The maximum possible
compensation is given in the technical specifications.
In order to ensure safety and to comply to international directives, insulation of high voltage
models, i. e. such with a nominal voltage of 500 V or higher, is ensured by using only the two
outer pins of the 4-pole terminal. The inner two pins, marked with NC, must remain unconnected.

Master-Slave bus
A master-slave bus is provided on the rear side of the units, which enables the master
units to control the slave via the included standard CAT5 cables. The bus configu-
ration is in permanent use and must not be modified, unless single slave units are
temporarily removed from the cabinet for repair or maintenance purposes. In these
situations it may be required to activate the bus termination feature, at least when
the master unit reports bus problems and missing slave(s).
The master-slave bus must not be connected to units outside of the cabinet!
