1 Programme chart
A programme chart in Korean is in the front part of
the detergent dispenser drawer.
2 Mains-on light
This light comes on when the ON/OFF button is
pressed, and goes out when it is pressed again.
3 ON/OFF button
Press this button to switch the machine on. Press it
again to switch the machine off.
4 Programme selector dial
The selector is divided into 5 sections:
• Cotton, linen
• Synthetics
• Delicates
• Woollens (hand
washing)
• Special programmes

Programme Option buttons
Depending on the programme, different functions
can be combined. These must be selected after
choosing the desired programme and before
depressing the START/PAUSE button.
When these buttons are pressed, the corresponding
pilot lights come on. When they are pressed again,
the pilot lights go out.
If an incorrect option is selected, the corresponding
pilot light flashes for about 2 seconds, the message
Err
is displayed and 3 acoustic signals ring.
5 Soil level button
This button allows you to select the wash
performance according to the degree of soil of your
laundry:
•
(normally soiled): the machine is pre-set for this
position, this means that when you select a
programme, the light corresponding to this soil
level comes on. At this point you can decide to
choose HEAVY SOILED
or LIGHTLY SOILED
depending on how soiled your laundry is.
•
(heavy soiled): by choosing this option, the
washing time is prolonged by approx. 10 minutes
for cotton and synthetics, but not for the
ECONOMY programme.
•
(lightly soiled) this function can be selected for
cotton, synthetics and delicate items, but
not
for
the ECONOMY programme “E”. The washing time
will be considerably reduced.
