Use

Energy savings tips:

• The room temperature affects the appliance's con-

sumption of electric current.

Therefore, avoid placing it near sources of heat or in
direct rays of sunlight.
If possible, choose a place that has a room temperatu-
re below the climate class indicated.

• Make sure there is sufficient ventilation.Do not cover

the ventilation slits.

• Do not cover the ventilation slits.

• Do not set a temperature lower than necessary.

• Let hot food products cool to room temperature before

placing them in the refrigerator.

• Put liquids inside covered containers only.

• Avoid keeping the refrigerator open unless it is neces-

sary.

• Clean the condensate regularly (see Defrosting and

Cleaning).

• Too thick a layer of frost causes needless consumption

of electric current. Small deposits of frost can be remo-
ved from time to time with a plastic scraper.

Using the refrigerator compartment

Starting the appliance

Plug it into the socket.

Press the EIN/AUS (B) (ON/OFF) button. The mains
operation indicator (A) lights up.

Press one of the .+. (C) or .-. (E) buttons. The tempera-
ture indicator goes into operation and indicates the set
nominal temperature.

If the regulator is set at a higher level, wait about 4 hours
before loading the appliance.

The right temperature for loading food products to be coo-
led is +5°C.

Temperature adjustment

• By pressing one of the .+. (C) or .-. (E) buttons it is pos-

sible to switch from the actual temperature (the tempe-
rature indicator is lit and remains stationary) to the
nominal temperature (the temperature indicator blinks).

• By continuing to press one of the buttons, the nominal

temperature changes 1°C.

• If no button is pressed, the temperature indicator auto-

matically returns to the actual temperature after about
5 seconds.
