Limited Warranty
Tankless Hot Water Heaters
Pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in this Limited Warranty (this “Warranty”), Electrolux Home Products, Inc. (“Electrolux)
hereby warrants to the original consumer purchaser, in the originally installed location, (the “Owner) the enclosed gas hot water
heater (the “Product”) to be free from any material defects in materials and workmanship. There are no express warranties other
than those contained in this Warranty, and all representations or affirmations made by Electrolux or any other person were for
illustrative purposes only. No agent, employee, or representative of Electrolux has any authority to bind Electrolux to any affirmation,
representation, or warranty concerning the Product, and unless an affirmation, representation, or warranty made by an agent,
employee, or representative is specifically included within this Warranty, it will not be enforceable by the Owner.
Required Conditions
1)
The Owner must provide proof of purchase and complete the Product Registration/WarrantyCard (“Registration
Card”) contained within the literature provided or register online by going to electroluxappliances.com or calling
1-888-360-8557.
2)
The Product must be installed by an Electrolux Authorized Installer, in compliance with Electrolux published materials
provided with the Product, and in accordance to all local plumbing, electrical and/or gas codes.
3)
The Owner must use the Product in compliance with instructions in the Installation Manual and Use & Care Guide,
which are included with the Product.
Limited Warranty Period
This Warranty is extended by Electrolux to the Owner. This Warranty takes effect on the date of installation of the Product by the
Electrolux Authorized Installer or 30 days after the date of purchase, whichever occurs first, and is effective until the specified
anniversary of such date as follows:
1)
Limited One-Year approved labor

and replacement of defective parts.
2)
Limited additional Four-Year replacement (years 2 through 5) of defective parts other than the heat exchanger –
Labor not included.
3)
Limited additional Eleven-Year

replacement (years 2 through 12) on the heat exchanger when the Product is used in
a single family dwelling – Labor not included.
4)
Limited additional Eleven-Year
2
replacement (years 2 through 12) on the heat exchanger when the Product is used in
a single family dwelling in conjunction with a controller

recirculation system installed in accordance with the
Installation Manual – Labor not included.
5)
Limited additional Two-Year replacement (years 2 through 3) on the heat exchanger when the Product is used for
commercial capacity, if it is used in other than a single family dwelling, or if the Product is supplied with pre-heated or
circulated water – Labor not included.

Labor will be paid to an Authorized Electrolux Service Representative on approved warranty repairs.

Total Twelve-Year (years 1 through 12) or 6,500 operational (burn) hours as recorded by the water heater, whichever occurs first.

An aquastat is the minimum pump control requirement in order to maintain the full recirculation warranty. Point of use or “on demand” recirculation systems
which are thermally controlled (i.e. aquastat) also classify as controlled systems.
Exclusions
Please refer to the Installation Manual and Use & Care Manual supplied with your new Electrolux product. This Warranty becomes
null and void if any of the following are determined to be contributing factors to failure of the Product under this Warranty.
1)
Abuse, neglect, misuse or misapplication.
2)
Improper, dangerous, or destructive maintenance procedures.
3)
Damages caused by services performed by servicers other than Electrolux or its authorized servicers.
4)
Use in conjunction with any unapproved device.
5)
Installation in an environment that is corrosive or otherwise destructive to the product, whether internal or external.
6)
Incorrect gas or water pressure.
7)
Incorrect sizing for the application.
8)
Use with improper gas type.
9)
Product with original serial numbers that have been removed or altered and cannot be readily determined.
10) Damage as a result of freezing within the unit or surrounding piping.
11) Damage as a result of use with non-potable water, untreated or poorly treated well water, or water with high PH
levels or hardness levels in excess of 12 grains per gallon (200mg/L). Refer to the “Water Quality” section of the Use
& Care Guide for details.
12) Service calls which do not involve malfunction or defects in workmanship or material. The consumer will pay for
such service calls.
13) Acts of God including, but not limited to; fire, flood, or natural disaster.
