To prevent odors
Store food always
packaged or in covered
containers.
Use dried packaging
and containers.
In the event of prolonged
absence (eg. vacation),
intending to turn the
refrigerator off, remove
all foods and clean it, leaving the door ajar to prevent
mold and unpleasant odors (see item cleaning and
maintenance).
Do not store food with expired dates in the
refrigerator.
Cooked foods (eg. rice, beans, etc.), high in fat (eg.
dairy, salami, ham, etc.) and acids (eg. vinegar,
wine, onion, garlic, etc.) exhale odors that can
contaminate other foods and generate unpleasant
odors over time of use of your refrigerator.
To keep the refrigerator:
Avoid contact of any type of oil or fat with the plastic
parts of the refrigerator to avoid the appearance of
spots and damage to the refrigerator.
Do not lubricate the door hinge in any way to not
cause damage to the plastic parts.
Avoid placing glass and plastic bottles or closed
cans in the freezer, because liquids increase
in volume when frozen and these containers
may break. To cool drinks in the freezer (DRINK
EXPRESS function) use the tips on page 46 (TABLE
FOR DRINK FAST COOLING).
In the event of a blackout, do not open the
refrigerator doors. This will ensure that the internal
temperature is kept for a longer time.
To safe energy
Keep the doors open only as long as necessary.
If the doors are not properly closed, will increase
energy consumption and may occur excessive
formation of ice.
Do not use towels or plastic to line the shelves and
distribute food thoroughly to facilitate the circulation
of cold air between them.
Never hang clothes,
wipers or objects in the
condenser (back of the
refrigerator), it imparis
the performance and
increases energy
consumption.
Do not put hot food
in the refrigerator or
freezer.
To carry the
refrigerator
In case you need to
transport, do not throw
the refrigerator to
the right (looking the
refrigerator from the
front).
For small movements,
tilt it back or to one side
with a maximum angle
of 30°.
In long displacements
(ex.: relocation), move it
upright.
Do not drag the
refrigerator by pulling it
through the condenser.
