GENERAL

TROUBLE SHOOTING

No Power: If your vacuum cleaner does not
operate check the following:
• The plug connection.
• The electrical wall socket is

switched on.

Loss of suction: If your vacuum cleaner
looses suction power, check the following:
• Hose (7) and other accessories in use

are not blocked.

• The filters are clean.

Should the above mentioned checks not
solve the problem, please contact your
nearest Authorised Electrolux Service
Centre for advice.

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF

The motor is fitted with a thermal cut-out
switch which will automatically switch your
vacuum cleaner off if it starts to overheat. If
this does happen do the following:
• Switch the vacuum cleaner off at the

on/off switch (5) and unplug the mains
supply cable.

• Now leave your vacuum cleaner to cool

down for approximately 40 minutes.

• During this time check if the hose (7),

accessories, air inlet channel (see fig. 12)
and filters are perhaps blocked as this
could have caused the machine to
overheat.

• Once your vacuum cleaner has cooled

down, it will start again. If it does not
restart, contact your nearest Electrolux
Service Center

NOTE: If you wish to use your vacuum
cleaner while the cartridge filter (15) is
drying, you may use the extra cartridge
filter (15) inserted in the packaging box.

8 Insert the protector mesh (16) into its

place by pushing it onto the cartridge
filter (15). See fig. 17.

9 Put the cartridge filter (15) into its place

(B) and turn it clockwise (A). See fig. 16.

10 Put the filter set back into the dust

container (7). See fig. 14.

11 Put the dust container (7) back into the

vacuum cleaner. See fig. 13.

Cartridge filter reference no.: EL066.

Cleaning the washable micro exhaust
filter

1 Open the filter grille to remove the exhaust

filter. See fig. 21

2 Remove the exhaust filter. See fig. 22.

3 Rinse it under tap water and allow it to

dry completely. See fig. 23.
