3 Function test
The function test is used to facilitate troubleshooting the machine. It is for example possible to:
• Control the machine functions
• Control the sensor signals to the CPU board
• Check the communication in the machine control system
• Check the display
Activate the

The display will now show the following submenus:

Perform a function test
Door
1. Open and close the door.
2. Check input
DOOR CLOSED
.
Note that
O.H. DRUM MOTOR
also will toggle when door is opened.
O.H. FAN MOTOR
also will toggle when door is opened (only on I/O 8).
Vacuum test
1. Activate the fan. Make sure the door is closed.
2. Check input
VACUUM
. The input shall change status from inactive to active withing 15 seconds after the fan was
activated.
Drum rotation test
1. Activate
DRUM MOTOR CW
. Visually check drum rotation clockwise. Make sure the door is closed.
2. Activate
DRUM MOTOR CCW
. Visually check drum rotation counter clockwise. Make sure the door is closed.
Heat and Overheat protection
1. Activate the fan. Make sure the door is closed.
2. Check input
VACUUM
.
3. Activate
HEATING 1
and
HEATING 2
(if available).
4. Check inputs
INLET AIR TEMP.
and
OUTLET AIR TEMP.
5. Deactivate the heat.
Note!
Heat control is inactivated in service mode. If heat is on too long the OH protection for inlet or outlet air
will break.
If one of the OH protections is broken, the power is cut for the heating.
For machines with I/O 8 this will also cut off the power to the following inputs:

,
O.H. DRUM
MOTOR

O.H. FAN MOTOR
