Step 3:
Test the temperature sensor (probe) by disconnecting it from the harness and meas-
uring the resistance with an ohm meter. If the resistance is higher than 1200 ohms or less than
1000 ohms replace the sensor. If the quick connect harness plug on the temperature sensor
probe is found to be defective the plug can be cut out and the connection can be hard wired.
Step 4:
Verify continuity of the wire harness and connections from the temperature sensor
and safety thermostats.
