17 OPERATING MODES

Your ViscosityMaster software has two operating modes; manual and automatic.

•

In 

manual mode

 your ViscosityMaster software records measurements as they are taken by

the instrument but it does not control the operation of the Viscometer.

•

In 

automatic mode

 your ViscosityMaster software records measurements and it controls the

operation of the Viscometer.

Note:

 RV1 models can only be used in manual mode. RV2 models can be used in Manual mode

and in Automatic mode.

18 INSTRUCTIONS FOR RV1 VISCOMETERS

Note:

 RV1 Viscometers can only be used in manual mode - they cannot be used in automatic mode.

18.1 Setting up a batch

1. Click on ‘New’ and select ‘New Batch’. 
2. Type a name for the batch and then press the Return key.
