The L1 spindle is used for low viscosity measurement. The spindle guard must be used with this spindle in
order to obtain correct viscosity readings. For higher accuracy when measuring low viscosity samples, use
the Adaptor for Low Viscosity Materials and the special cylindrical spindle (LCP); See “Spare parts and
accessories” on page 28.
