5 ECR tests
The Euro-500TX Handy ECR tests allow quick diagnostics and checking
of functionality of the ECR. The tests range from test of display elements,
keyboard test, through circuit tests to many other components.
Individual test launch procedure for Euro-500TX Handy:
1. Press numerical key 4 and key [Mode] and the ECR enters the program-
ming mode.
2. Enter the number of the test you want to perform.
3. Press the [Multiply] key.
5.1 Display tests
The display test gradually display the displayable characters on both dis-
plays.
Procedure:
1. Switch the ECR into programming mode.
2. Enter ‘100’ using numerical keys.
3. Press the [Multiply] key.
Testing procedure for the segment LCD:
The numbers ‘8’ and periods ‘.’ start displaying on the LCD from right to left
and, simultaneously, the arrows in the left part of the display will begin to
blink from top to bottom.
