Press the 'ON/OFF' button (1) to turn off the radio. The display will show the current time.
Note: The current dial (AM or FM) and volume will be memorized when you turn off the radio, so that when you turn it on again,
you will recover that dial and volume as you left them.
ANTENNA
The FM antenna is located inside the hand strap. Extend it to improve signal reception.
The AM Ferrite antenna inside the radio is very sensitive, which will give you excellent AM signal reception.
To improve reception, search and direct the radio to the point where it receives the strongest signal, which is variable, since the
ferrite antenna is directional.
SCANNING FOR STATIONS
MANUAL FOR SCANNING
The value of each scan step for the FM band is 0.1 MHz. You will move forward or backward through the dial this amount each
time you press the 'SCAN +' (3) or 'SCAN -' (4) button respectively. Press these buttons until you reach the exact dial of your
favorite station.
AUTOMATIC SCANNING
Press and hold the 'SCAN +' (3) or 'SCAN -' (4) button for more than 2 seconds and release it. This function is automatic and will
start scanning up or down until it finds the next station that has a sufficiently strong signal. Repeat the process as many times as
necessary until you reach your favorite station.
SCAN MEMORY
You can store up to 40 radio stations. 20 stations per band. You can access your saved stations by pressing the 'P' (7)
or 'PROGRAM -' (8) button until you choose your currently preferred station.
MEMORIZE STATIONS
MANUAL FOR STORING BROADCAST STATIONS
Select the band you wish to search for (AM or FM).
Press the 'OPTIONS' button (9) briefly and the memory number will appear in the upper left of the screen.
Next press the 'P' (7) or 'PROGRAM -' (8) button to choose the exact memory location where you want to save the
station ( 0, 1, 2... 19 ).
Press the 'OPTIONS' button (9) briefly again, to save the station in this memory position. If the 'OPTIONS' button
(9) button is not pressed again, the memory position number will flash for 3 seconds and be saved in this last position.
You can memorize up to 20 stations per band.
AUTOMATIC SCANNING AND STORING STATIONS
This radio can automatically scan all stations in each band and save the first 20 stations it finds. To do this, follow these steps:
Select the desired band (AM or FM). Press the 'OPTIONS' button (9) for more than 5 seconds. The scan icon will begin to flash on
the screen, and the radio will begin scanning and saving the first 20 stations it finds on that band.
If it doesn't find 20 stations, the empty memory locations become available to save any stations manually.
CLOCK FUNCTION
TIME SETTING
Press the 'ON / OFF' button (1) to turn the radio off and the screen will show the clock.
Before setting the time, make sure that the alarm function is not activated. You can check this by looking for the alarm clock icon
on the top right of the screen. If it appears, press the 'BAND/ALARM SELECT' button (2) to turn it off. Press the 'OPTIONS' button
(9) and the time mode, 12/24, will flash on the screen. Next, press the 'SCAN +' (3) or 'SCAN -' (4) button to choose between
these modes and press the 'OPTIONS' (9) button again to confirm.
The hour will flash on the display. Press the 'SCAN +' (3) or 'SCAN -' (4) button to set the time correctly. Once set, press the
'OPTIONS' (9) button again.
The minutes will now flash on the display. Press the 'SCAN +' (3) or 'SCAN -' (4) button to adjust the minutes correctly. Once
adjusted, press the 'OPTIONS' (9) button again and the time will start.
ADJUSTING THE ALARM
The alarm can only be set if the radio is off, while the current time is displayed and it is activated, which is indicated with the
alarm clock icon that should appear at the top right of the screen.
If the alarm is not activated, press the 'SELECT BAND / ALARM' button (2)
Press the 'OPTIONS' button (9) and the hour will start flashing on the screen. Press the 'SCAN +' (3) or 'SCAN -' (4) button to
adjust the time.
Once adjusted, press the 'OPTIONS' (9) button again. The minutes will now flash. Press the 'SCAN +' (3) or 'SCAN -' (4) button to
adjust the minutes correctly.
Once adjusted press the 'OPTIONS' button (9) again and the text "rAD" or "buZ" will appear on the screen. " rAd " indicates that
the alarm is activated in radio mode. "buZ" indicates that the alarm is activated in buzz mode. Press the 'SCAN +' button
(3) or 'SCAN -' (4) to select the mode you prefer.
Press the 'OPTIONS' button (9) again to confirm the time and mode of the alarm.
Before you skip the alarm, you can deactivate it by pressing the 'BAND/ALARM SELECT' button (2) making the alarm clock icon
disappear from the screen.
RADIO ALARM CLOCK
With the alarm time set, and having currently selected the radio mode, the radio will automatically activate. The radio will sound
with the memorized station and the default volume (35).
Note: Even if the radio is in operation, the volume will change to 35 when the alarm is activated. The radio will run for one hour
and then turn off automatically.
To turn off the radio, press the 'ON/OFF' button (1).
The alarm will sound again 24 hours later until it is manually turned off by pressing the 'BAND/ALARM SELECT' button (2), when
you see that the alarm clock icon disappears from the screen.
