9. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
9.1 Basic safety measures
In order to avoid accidents during normal use, maintenance and troubleshooting
the following shall be respected:

earth connections shall be checked periodically;

the operator shall command the equipment standing on a clean and dry
rubber sheet

the mains power supply protection circuits shall be checked periodically

direct contact with possibly hot surfaces shall be avoided

Safety equipment must not be put out of operation
Attention:
After disconnection, some power components may still have hazardous
voltage for 60s.
Attention:
Persons with cardiac pacemaker are not allowed to operate the system.
When the inductor is swiched on, thay have to keep a safe distance of min 5m.
9.2 Basic safety measures during maintenance

during maintenance and troubleshooting the low voltage protection
norms shall be respected
o
operator, maintenance and service personnel shall be properly
instructed
o
only service person may operate any troubleshooting inside the
distillation machine
Before doing any maintenance work on the distillation machine:

Switch off the distillation machine

Wait 60 seconds after the main contactor is off, to assure
complete discharging of the capacitors
