FRONT PANEL & REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

Function Names

A. REMOTE SENSOR

Receives IR information from infrared emitters and the remote control.

B. STANDBY indicator

This LED is lit when the unit is in the standby mode. When the unit is
turned on, the LED goes off.

C. POWER switch

Press this to switch the unit between ON and STANDBY. The equipment
draws nominal non-operating power from the AC outlet when it is in
STANDBY mode.

D.  FM button, AM button

Use these buttons to select either FM or AM.

E.  FM MODE button

Use this button to select either FM stereo or FM monaural reception.

F. PRESET 

button

Use this button to select the Preset Tuning Mode. In Preset Mode, the
numeric buttons on the remote control or front panel can be used to
directly access preset stations that have been stored in the DTNR’s
memory.

G. DIRECT button

Use this button to select the Manual Tuning Mode. In Manual Tuning
Mode, the numeric buttons on the remote control or front panel can be
used to directly input the frequency numbers of radio stations.

H. MEMORY button

Use this button to store preset stations into memory.

I. TUNING/PRESET

Use these buttons to tune in a station.

J. Numeric buttons

These buttons are used either to input frequency numbers or to select
preset stations.
