6.1 Using for the
fi
rst time
Once you have completely assembled the pres-
sure cleaner and made all the connections, pro-
ceed as follows:
Open the water inlet. Press safety pin „a“ (Fig. 2)
on the spray gun and pull back trigger lever „b“
(Fig. 2) in order to bleed the trapped air out of the
equipment.
Turn on the equipment by switching the On/O
ff
switch (Fig. 1/3) to “I”.
Now activate the trigger lever (b).
To turn o
ff
, release the trigger lever (b). The
equipment will then go into standby. As soon as
you press the trigger lever (b) again, the pressure
cleaner will restart.
To turn o
ff
the pressure cleaner completely, set
the On/O
ff
switch (Fig. 1/3) to “O”.
6.2 Using cleaning agent
•
Fill the cleaning agent container (10) with sui-
table cleaning agent.
•
The cleaning agent will be added automati-
cally in low-pressure mode.
Note:
Use only cleaning agents which are expressly
suitable for high-pressure cleaners.
6.3 Holder for the gun/accessories (Fig. 1)
The gun and accessories can be kept in the provi-
ded accessories holder (2) in order to save space
when not in use.
7. Replacing the power cable
Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the mains power plug before star-
ting any cleaning work.
8.1 Cleaning
•
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
•
We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished
using it.
•
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could
attack the plastic parts of the equipment. En-
sure that no water can seep into the device.
8.2 Maintenance
8.2.1 Testing the water intake
fi
lter
Periodically check the intake
fi
lter in order to pre-
vent clogging, which could jeopardize operation
of the pump.
To do this, unscrew the coupling for the water inlet
hose from the device and clean the exposed inlet
sieve under running water.
8.2.2 Long periods of nonuse (electric pump)
The machine should be fully emptied of water
each time after use. This requires you to switch on
the equipment without a connected water supply
and to press the trigger lever (b) (max. 1 min.) un-
til no more water emerges. Then you must switch
o
ff
the equipment.
If the device is not used for an extended period
of time, lime deposits will begin to form in the
electric pump, which in turn can lead to starting
di
ffi
culties.
