Additional safety instructions
Only hold the heated soldering gun by the
handle. Risk of burns!
Only place the heated soldering gun on non-
flammable and heat-resistant surfaces. They
may catch fire.
The screw connection on the soldering gun must
be tight. Check this before you start work.
Always hold the mains cable away from the
soldering tip.
Do not glue up the ON/OFF button on the
soldering gun.
The workpiece should be adequately secured as
a result of the high working temperatures.
The soldering tip will become hot during use and
if it is not used correctly it may cause burn
marks, singeing and, in the worst case scenario,
burns and fires.
Do not dip the soldering gun into water and do
not hold the soldering tip under running water.
Wear safety goggles whilst soldering, tine and
flux spatter may cause eye injuries.
Some flux types develop unpleasant vapors
during heating. Ensure that there is adequate
ventilation at your workplace.
