Leave your computer on during installation. 

If your computer is off, turn it on, enter your username and 
password if prompted to do so, then wait until the Windows 
desktop is visible.

Remove the Eicon Wireless PC Card from its protective case.

Gently insert the Eicon Wireless PC Card (label face up) into the 
PC Card slot of your computer.

After a few moments, Win-
dows will display the ‘New 
Hardware Found’ window.

The ‘Add New Hardware 
Wizard’ window will then 
appear.

Insert the Diva CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
Wait a moment for the CD-ROM to spin up.

5.

From the ‘Hardware Wizard’ window, select ‘Automatic search 
for a better driver’, then click ‘Next’.

Windows automatically searches the CD-ROM for a compati-
ble driver. When found, the driver is installed automatically.

6.

During the install process, 
you will be prompted to con-
figure your wireless LAN set-
tings.

on page 5.

After a few moments, Win-
dows will display the ‘New 
Hardware Found’ window.

The hardware wizard will 
then appear.

Insert the Diva CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

From the ‘Hardware Wizard’ window, click ‘Next’.

Select the option ‘Search for 
the best driver’, then click 
‘Next’.

7.

When asked for the location 
of the driver files, select 
‘Specify a location’ and clear 
other options. 

8.

In the ‘Location’ field, enter: 

E:\wireless\drivers\win_98

Replace ‘E’ with the letter of your CD-ROM drive.

Note: 

You can also click ‘Browse’ to locate this folder.

Click ‘Next’ to continue.

9.

Once Windows has found 
the driver and is ready to 
proceed, click ‘Next’.

Note: 

You may be asked to in-

sert your Windows install CD-
ROM during this process.

10.

During the install process, you will be prompted to 

configure your wireless LAN settings.
