8.2 – Lubrication points
The lubrication should only be carried out with proper machinery lubrication oil and should only
be done to the parts indicated and referred to figure 1:

Vertical movement lead screw (11)

Vertical movement linear rod (20)
-
Set of movable parts next to part (inside part 18 and visible from the top)

The crossing points of the main shaft (14);
-
The linear rod with part (8);
-
Set of 3 movable parts next to part (9)
After lubrication proceed with a system verification test.
8.3 – System verification
If you have a suitable measure standard to verify the gauge, confirm the gauge readings (see
tolerances table sent with the gauge manual). If the values are inconsistent with the certificate
from the manufacturer consult the calibration chapter in the gauge manual.
If, even after the calibration process, the measure inaccuracy remains, please contact our
technical assistance in order to replace the gauge.
Each gauge was specifically conceived for EGITRON, which means that a new
gauge acquired in the market will not work on PerfiLab.
Repeatability verification
1. Turn the system on and place a bottle on PerfiLab. Set the gauge in order to start a test and
don’t forget to verify the tightness of the vertical and lateral displacement breaks. Make sure
that the bottle remains in place by the automatic-centring jaws.
2. With the PerfiLab software proceed to collect diameter values from 5 bottlenecks at 0º and
90º with a depth of 45mm and 1mm resolution. For this use the same bottle in all the tests,
the bottle has to remain in the same position (do not rotate the bottle).
