Yes,
you
can
use
any
battery
with
a
voltage
between
10V
and
24V
but
the
low
voltage
shut
off
is
set
to
9.6V
and
will
not
protect
your
battery.
We
recommend
a
3
cell
Li
‐
Po.
Question
Why
won’t
the
POWER
LED
come
on
when
I
connect
the
Four
‐
Play
Pro
into
my
Power
supply?
Answer
Either
the
power
supply
connections
are
reversed,
the
power
supply
is
AC
not
DC
or
the
voltage
is
less
than
9.6VDC.
Question
The
Four
‐
Play
Pro
works
fine
when
I
charge
2
batteries.
Why
does
it
turn
off
when
I
plug
in
the
third
battery?
Answer
Your
supply
voltage
is
dropping
below
9.6
volts.
This
could
be
caused
by
a
supply
that
can’t
supply
enough
current.

Why
is
one
of
the
CHARGE
LED

red
or
green
when
no
battery
is
plugged
into
the
CHARGE
RECEPTACLE
?
Answer
This
is
normal
operation,
the
CHARGE
LED
color
is
only
valid
when
a
battery
is
plugged
in.
Question
Why
won’t
the
CHARGE
LED
turn
on
when
I
have
a
battery
plugged
into
the
CHARGE
RECEPTACLE
?
Answer
Either
the
battery
is
not
fully
plugged
into
the
CHARGE
RECEPTACLE
or
the
charge
rate
is
set
to
less
than
20mA.

Why
does
the
CHARGE
LED
turn
red
if
I
move
a
battery
that
was
fully
charged
in
one
CHARGE
RECEPTACLE
to
another
CHARGE
RECEPTACLE
?
Answer
This
is
normal
and
is
caused
by
the
slight
differences
in
the
charge
voltage
of
the
charging
circuits
used
in
each
channel.
The
differences
are
very
small
and
the
CHARGE
LED
will
turn
green
in
a
few
minutes.
