5.9 Clean the pump oil level sight glass
1. Move the oil change tag ( Figure 1 , item 10) to the side of the pump in order to access the oil level sight glass (8).
2. Drain the oil as described in Section 5.5 .
3. Undo the two screws ( Figure 10 , item 1) and remove the bezel (2), the sight glass (3) and the O-ring (4) from the
oil box (5).
4. Clean the screws, bezel and sight glass with a suitable cleaning solution.
5. Wipe the O-ring with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.
6. Wipe the sight glass recess in the oil box with the cloth.
7. Refit the O-ring, sight glass and bezel and secure with the two screws.
8. Refill the pump with oil as described in Section 5.5 .
9. Check that the sight glass does not leak.
10. Move the oil change tag ( Figure 1 , item 10) to the front of the pump, over the sight glass.
