About the grounding connector
Depending on the conditions in which you use it, the V-1's panel may feel slightly
"gritty" to the touch. This is due to an extremely low level of static electricity that
poses absolutely no danger to you. However, if you find this annoying, you may
connect the grounding connector to an external ground. Under some conditions,
connecting an external ground may cause the video image to be disrupted. If you are
not sure how to connect the ground, consult a Roland service center.
Do not connect this to the following:
• Water pipes (may result in shock or electrocution)
• Gas pipes (may result in fire or explosion)
• Telephone-line ground or lightning rod (may be dangerous in the event of
lightning)
