How to setup SSID with VLAN in AP mode, and work with GS-5424PLG?
Network Toplogy
1.
We suggest configuring the IP address of Edimax Pro AP as static IP address. For
example, it is 192.168.2.6 here.
2.
Please configure Laptop IP address as 192.168.2.x. For example, it is 192.168.2.30
here.
3.
The wireless adapter connected to Edimax_10 will obtain IP address from router
A; the wireless adapter connected Edimax_11 will obtain IP address from router
B.
4.
The switch is GS-5424PLG.
5.
Both Routers (A/B) are VLAN unaware devices.
Configuration Steps on Edimax Pro AP
1.
Use laptop to connect to the GS-5424PLG Port 24 using cable.
2.
Power on Edimax Pro AP, and connect to GS-5424PLG Port 7.
3.
Open web browser, type
192.168.2.6
on the address bar, and press “Enter”.
