Arming the Instrument
The Release mechanism is easily armed. The shaft should be wiped clean and lubricated with silicone
grease before installing the link.
Items required for arming:
•
One (1) Release Link
•
Silicone grease
•
Phillips screw driver (#1 Phillips preferred)
To Arm the Instrument:
1.
Remove the Anti-Rotation Block from the Release End of the instrument (Black Delrin block that
keeps the Release Link from turning) by unscrewing the two nylon screws that hold it in place as
shown in
Figure 4-19: Remove the Anti-Rotation Block by Unscrewing the Two Nylon Screws
