Put a jumper wire at JP3 location (the unit always is on).
Note:
For voice mail operation mode, the PWR button must be working (JP3 open).
5. Networking Function:
•
To link our simplex repeater with other(s) EDM-3´s, it will be necessary to open the
jumper wire between pin 4 and 11 in the DB15 harness connector.
Remove the DB15 screws of the harness cable interface.
EDM-3 Layout
Operation
Once all the adjusts are done, our EDM-3 is ready to work.
Turn on / Turn off:
If this function is enabled, just press the PWR button an the front panel and the “ON”
LED should light up. To turn it off, just press the PWR button again.
Voice mail Function:
To select this operation mode, it will be necessary to press the
PWR
button for 3
seconds until the
ON
LED starts flashing, this indicates that the EDM-3 is working in the
voice mail mode.
To disable this function, repeat the above procedure until the
ON
LED stops flashing.
Note:
to select the voice mail function, it will be necessary, that the power button has
been enabled previously, otherwise this function will not work.
