FITTING INSTRUCTIONS ELECTRIC WIRINGKIT TOWBAR WITH 12-N SOCKET UP TO
DIN/ISO NORM 1724

Remove the battery earth cable.
Remove the left rear foglight.
Remove the covering at the lefthand side in the boot, behind which the jack is located.
At the left hand side in the boot, underneath the rearlight unit a grommet is located.
Make a hole in this grommet.
Lead the wiring harness with the 6-pole connectors and the white wire through the grommet in the boot.
Lead the part of the wiring harness with the yellow, green, brown and black wires to the socket.
Lead the 4-pole connectors with the green and brown wires to the right rearlight.
Lead the 4-pole connectors with the black, red and yellow wires to the left rearlight.
Careful. Hot exhaust!
Tie both wiring harnesses with the supplied wire ties underneath the vehicle.
Pull the rubber coverplate over the wiring harness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as indicated:
Mount the socket to the towbar.
At the left and righthand side in the bumper 4-pole connectors are located.
Disconnect these connectors.
Connect the connectors with the green and brown wires at the righthand side.
Connect the connectors with the yellow, black and red wires at the lefthand side.
Connecting the rearfoglight:
In the left rearlight unit a 6-pole connector for the rearfoglight is located.
Disconnect this connector.
Fit the connectors with the blue and grey wire between this connector.
Fit the ringtongue with the white wire with a self tapping screw at the lefthand side near the jack.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall disassembled parts.
