Technology is a point-to-point link between two devices, it
enables integrated circuits to exchange information at much higher speeds than
currently available interconnect technologies.

This motherboard uses a socket AM3 that carries the following features:

compliant) for connection to an AMD Southbridge

• Fully supports ACPI states S1, S3, S4 and S5
• Single chip solution in 65nm, 1.1 V CMOS technology
The AMD RX780 Northbridge (NB) and SB710 Southbridge (SB) chipsets are
based on an innovative and scalable architecture with proven reliability and
performance.
