Setup Your Microsoft Account
To share files or settings with other devices running Windows 8.1, you
need to setup a Microsoft Account. Furthermore, if you want to download
or purchase apps from the Microsoft Store, such Microsoft Account is
required.
If you have already used other Microsoft services like Xbox, Hotmail,
Outlook.com, or Skype. Your Microsoft account is the email address you
use to sign in to those services. Otherwise, please create a new one.
To setup your Microsoft account
1. Open the Charms and click Settings > Change PC Settings.
2. Click Accounts > Your account >Connect to a Microsoft account.
3. Follow the instruction to register your account information.
