IRQ [3-7, 9-15], NMI (Enabled)
This option determines whether any activity for IRQ 3-7/9-15 will cause the system to
wake from a power saving mode.
IRQ 8 Break Suspend (Disabled)
Determines whether the system will monitor IRQ 8 activity and wake the system from a
power saving mode when IRQ 8 is activated.
Resume By Ring (Disabled)
Use this item to enable LAN or modem activity to wakeup the system from a power saving
mode.
Resume By MACPME (Enabled)
Use this item to enable MAC activity to wake up the system from a power saving mode.
Resume By PCI PME (Enabled)
This item allows users to enable or disable PCI activity to wakeup the system from a power
saving mode.
Power Up by Alarm (Disabled)
When set to Enabled, the following three fields become available: Month Alarm, Day of
Month Alarm, and Time Alarm Upon arrival of the alarm time, it will instruct the system
to wake up. When set to 0 (zero) for the day of the month, the alarm will power on your
system every day at the specified time.

Global Timer (power management) events are I/O events whose occurrence can prevent the
system from entering a power saving mode or can awaken the system from such a mode. In
effect, the system remains alert for anything that occurs to a device that is configured as
Enabled, even when the system is in a power-down mode.
