When using electrical devices, it is important to follow
these basic safety rules to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock and injuries:
· Before using the device, ensure that the supply
voltage for your device corresponds to your
electrical installation.
· Do not plug the fan into the electrical network until it is
fully assembled.
· The fan must be set on a horizontal and stable
surface when it is switched on, to prevent it from being
knocked over.
· Ensure that the cable is not trapped behind the device,
in drawers, behind shelves, etc.
· Do not pass the cable under the carpet or cover it with
a rug. Keep away from walkways to prevent tripping.
· To prevent risk of fire or electrocution, do not place the

place where humidity is likely to be high (such as in
a bathroom).
· Do not use the fan near a bath, shower or pool.
· Do not set the fan on or near a window. Rain could
create an electrical danger.
· The device should not be exposed to splashes or
water drops.
· Do not submerge the device in water or other liquids.
· Do not put objects over the device as there is a risk
of fire.
· Do not use the device near flammable objects.
· Do not use the device in places where there may be
flammable vapours or ignitable powders.
· This device has been designed specifically for
domestic use.
· Do not use the device for purposes other than for
which it was intended. Any other use that is not
recommended by the manufacturer could lead to fire,
electrical shock or physical or material damage.
· This device is for indoor use. Do not use outdoors.
· Do not use this device with an extension lead.
· Do not use this device near fire.
· To keep risks of fire and electrocution to a minimum,
do not use the fan together with a speed control device,
frequency converter, electric programmer or any other
device that could switch it on automatically.
· Do not touch the fan with wet hands.
· Do not spray insecticides or liquids inside the
fan grille.
· For safety reasons, never leave the device unattended
while it is in operation.
· Do not switch on this device if the blades are cracked
or damaged.
· Never insert your fingers, pens or any other objects into
the grille while the fan is in operation.
· Ensure that the device is switched off and unplugged
from the mains when it is not in use, as well as before
moving it, setting it somewhere else or cleaning it.
· Ensure that the fan is unplugged from the mains
before removing the protective grille.
· To disconnect the device from the mains, do not pull
on the connection cable; always pull it out by the plug.
· This apparatus can be used by children aged 8 and
older, as well as persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capacities, or who lack experience and
knowledge, as long as they are supervised or have
received appropriate instruction on how to use the
apparatus safely, and if they understand the dangers
inherent to it. Children must not play with the
apparatus. Cleaning and maintenance normally carried
out by the user must not be performed by children
without supervision.
· Do not place heavy objects on the cable or sources of
heat near to it. The cable could be damaged.
· Do not use the fan if the supply cable or plug
are damaged.
· If the supply cable becomes damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, an authorised technical
service or similarly-qualified personnel. Do not try to
repair it yourself. That way, you will prevent
unnecessary risks.
· Should abnormal conditions occur, switch the device
off immediately and contact the retailer.
