Before using this electrical appliance, basic safety
precautions must be adhered to, which include the following:
1. Read the instructions carefully and keep them with the
appliance. Ensure that you have fully understood the safety
precautions mentioned here.
2. Ensure that the voltage of the mains supply corresponds
with the voltage stated in the appliance specifications.
3. Always use the appliance on an even, dry and stable
surface. Do not let the cable hang over hot surfaces or over
the edge of the table or counter.
4. Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged,
if the product has malfunctioned, or if it has been damaged
in any way. Bring the appliance to an authorised After-Sales
Service for inspection, repair or servicing. Do not try to fix it
yourself.
5. If the power cord is damaged, return it to the
manufacturer or to a similarly qualified person, replace it to
avoid any risk.
6. Do not touch the moving parts.
7. Before using the appliance, ensure that the lid of the
mincer is correctly in place and closed.
8. Keep hands and utensils away from the container during
use to reduce the risk of serious injury to persons or damage
to the blender. A scraper can be used, provided that the
blender is not in use.
9. The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer can cause a fire, electric shock or bodily injury.
10. Unplug the appliance from the socket when not in use,
before assembling or disassembling any of its parts and
before cleaning. To disconnect the appliance, turn off any
switch or control and unplug the blender from the socket by
pulling on the plug (never on the cord).
11. Do not immerse the upper part of the blender in water, as
this could cause an electric shock.
12. To reduce the risk of injury, never place the blades on the
motor compartment without having attached the bowl
correctly.
13. The appliance could be used by children aged 8 and
above and by persons with physical, sensory or mental
impairments or lacking of experience and knowledge as long
as they are supervised or have been given the appropriate
information on how to safely use the appliance and as long
as they understand the dangers involved with its use.
Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance shall not be performed by children if not
supervised.
14. Keep this appliance out of the reach of children.
15. Take care when handling the blades, emptying the
container and during cleaning.
16. Before changing attachments, turn off the appliance and
unplug it from the mains, and do not go near moving parts
when they are in operation.
17. Do not use the blender outdoors.
18. This appliance cannot be used to crush ice or to blend
hard and dry substances, as this could cause the blade to
become blunt.
19. Do not use other than intended.
20. Be careful as incorrect use can cause injuries.
21. All of the materials in this appliance that can
come into contact with foods comply with current
regulations.
