Application
The ecom-UNO-CO is suitable for the measure-
ment of carbon monoxide concentrations in ambi-
ent air.
The operation range allows the measurement of
concentrations from 0 to 1000 ppm. Please al-
ways observe the valid safety regulations (e.g.
MAK value)!
Instrument design
Battery Indicator
When the battery indicator is blinking (no point
anymore: ), the batteries have to be replaced
or recharged (rechargeable batteries optional).
Recharge as follows:

lighter.

t adapter cable (Option) with charging
socket of ecom-UNO-CO.
●During the charging procedure an a
rrow shows
on the field „Charge“.
●The batteries are recharged in full when the a
r-
row has disappeared.
Set Operation Mode
The ecom-UNO-CO can be operated in 2 different
modes:
Standard
The unit automatically switches off after ca. 30
minutes.
Continue
The unit doesn´t switch off automatically.
The operation mode can be checked/selected as
follows:

The unit being switched-off, press the CAL key
until the display shows „S“
= Standard or
„C“ =
Continue.
●
Press the BEEP key or the COmax key to switch
the operation mode.
●
Press the CAL key to perform measurement in
the selected mode.
Switch-On Instrument
●
Press the CAL Key.
●
The ecom-UNO-CO starts a calibration phase of
max. 1 minute (0 blinks on the display).
●
After completion, the unit sets the zero point at
the CO concentration in the ambient air is ready
for operation.
Signal Function
The unit warns by exceeding of a 50 ppm CO
concentration with a beep tone. If the CO concen-
tration increases, the repeating frequency of the
beep tone gets shorter by each signal threshold
(see „Technical Data“). By values over 1000 pp
m,
only dashes are displayed.
Switch-Off Signal Function
Press the BEEP key to switch off the beep tone. It
automatically switches on again after 15 minutes
or by a CO concentration lower than 20 ppm.
COmax Function
Press the COmax key to call up the highest value
detected since the instrument switch-on. Continu-
ous pressing the CO max. key deletes the maxi-
mal value.
