The following items are to be observed:

It must be ensured that the device is not taken into hazardous locations
classified Zone 0, Zone 1 or any dust hazardous locations.

The device has to be protected against excessive impacts.
•
The device must be protected against exposure to UV-radiation.
•
Tab-ex 01 Rear Cover and Tab-ex 01 Protective Case must be attached
before entering the hazardous location.
•
The device shall not be repaired or dismantled except by personnel as
mentioned in section 6

The unit must not be used in close proximity to processes generating high
electrostatic charges.
• Clean the equipment with a damp cloth.
Charging and data connections:

The tablet computer may only be charged outside the hazardous area and
only by using ecom-certified chargers.
•
The tablet computer may only be charged in a temperature range
of -5 °C to +55 °C.
•
The data connection via USB is only allowed outside the hazardous areas to
