Do  not  pull  the  trimmer  by  the  cord.  Make  sure  the  power  cord  cannot  get 
caught in any way.  

 

When  cleaning,  during  maintenance,  or  when  not  in  use  always,  disconnect 
from the power supply. 

 

Use  only  extension  cables  which  are  approved  for  outdoor  operation.  Use 
approvable extension cable with a cable quality of H07 RN-F; 3-1.5 mm2. Ask 
your electrician. 

 

For  your  added  safety,  we  highly  recommend  the  use  of  an  RCD  (Residual 
Current Detector) when operating the trimmer.   

 

The  blades  are  very  sharp.  Do  not  touch  the  blades  during  use  and  keep 
fingers, hair, clothing  and similar objects away from the blades. 

 

Do  not  attempt  to remove cut material from the blades or to hold material to 
be cut when the blades are running. Remove jammed material from the blades 
after  switching  off  and  unplugging.  A  moment  of  inattention  while  operating 
the hedge trimmer may result in serious personal injury. 

 

Keep the blades always sharp and clean. Replace defective or completely worn 
blades with original  parts only. 

 

Do  not force the trimmer while cutting. Allow to hedge trimmer to work at the 
rate for which  it was designed.  

 

Have sufficient  rests!
