There are two things (fitting the throttle cable and two electric wires to the machine) that must be 
connected from the control handle onto the machine. in order to do this you must first remove the air 
filter plastic cover which is held on by a hand tighten knob. Take great care when doing this to make sure 
the air filter is not damaged or gets dirty. 

 Remove the air filter cover by loosening the knob (see Fig 2). Then locate the throttle cable into the 

slotted metal connector. Tighten the nut that holds the threaded bolt in place.(see Fig3).  

Please note: new cable stretches. Check /re-adjust after using for a short while.

 

   

              

The two electric wires (that allow you stop/start the engine from the control handle) are colour coded red 
and black. You should connect the red to red and black to black (see Fig 4),make sure the connection is 
tight and that the plastic sleeves cover the connection to keep the connection water tight. Then re-fit the 
air filter cover and tighten securely.(see Fig 5)
