paper laying on the ground. If a patch of oil appears and becomes larger, then the automatic oil function is working. If
there are no traces of oil even though the oil tank is full, then the automatic oil function is not working.
If the automatic oil function is not working, remove the chain bar and clean out the oil ways of the chainsaw and chain
bar. On reassembly, if the chainsaw is still not working, please take it to an authorized service centre.
Connection
This Multifunction chain saw may only be connected to single-phase 230VAC 50Hz UK Mains outlet. Ensure that the
mains voltage is the same as the operating voltage indicated on the rating plate.
To help prevent the possibility of electric shock when using any mains-operated equipment outdoors, we highly
recommend the use of an RCD (Residual Current Detector) as referred to earlier in these instructions. An RCD is
available separately from Eckman or from most good DIY /Electrical retailers.
Operation
1) Preparation before use
a) Check if all safety equipment such as gloves ,glasses ,helmet are to hand.
b) Make sure all parts of your body are away from the machine when starting the motor.
c) Always hold the machine firmly with both hands when the motor is running. Use a firm grip with thumb and fingers
encircling the front and the rear handles.
d) Check the workplace for any obstacles such as barbed wire, metal and concrete fence posts, electrical wires.
