4.

Loosen sprocket guard nuts (D).

5.

Hold bar nose up, and turn

adjuster screw (E) clockwise until

chain contacts underside of bar.

6.

Tighten sprocket guard nuts (D)

with bar nose held up.

7.

Pull chain around bar by hand.

Loosen adjustment if you feel

tight spots.

Tighten sprocket guard nuts to 20-23 N•m (175-200 in•lbf). DO NOT
over-tighten nuts. Damage to saw may result.

8.

Assemble components in reverse order.

9.

Keep chain properly tensioned at all times.

Note: All chains require frequent adjustments.
