Press Throttle Trigger Lockout 

(D) down while grasping 

Throttle Trigger (E) and then 

push in Throttle Latch (F) as 

shown.

8.

Securely hold the chain saw as 

shown. When starting the chain 

saw place the unit on flat 

ground and hold the front 

handle with left hand and hold 

firmly the rear end of rear 

handle with right knee. Pull 

starter handle with right hand 

several times until first firing 

sound.

9.

Push Choke Control Knob (C)  

all the way in to (OPEN 

 

choke position).

10. Pull starter handle to start the 

engine.

Note: Do not pull starter rope out 

to maximum position. Do 

not allow recoil handle to 

snap back against the 

casing. If engine does not 

start after 5 pulls, repeat 

instructions.
