Connecting additional devices to ZR 800
Before connecting other devices, make sure the power cable is disconnected. Plug in the cord only after all
connections have been established.
Stereo source connection
Use Stereo source inputs for devices equipped with RCA audio outputs (e.g. TV, DVD player or home cinema
amplifier/receiver).
Use the included RCA cable.
1. Plug one end of the cable into the red and white Stereo inputs on the back of the device.
2. Find the red and white outputs on the device being connected. Connect the other end of the cable into
these outputs.
To listen to the connected device, select
STEREO
mode.
Source connections to Line 1 and Line 2
Line sockets are used to connect devices equipped with 3.5mm stereo jacks (e.g. MP3 players or other
portable devices).
Use the separately bought 3.5mm stereo cable to connect. The cable is not included.
1. Plug one end of the cable into the Line 2 or Line 2 input on the back of the device.
2. Find the 3.5mm output jack on the device being connected. Connect the other end of the cable into this
output. (if the line jack is not available, use the 3.5 mm headphone output.)
3. Lower the volume on the device being connected. Set the desired volume on the device being connected
via the volume control.

LiNE 1
or
LiNE 2
to listen to the device being connected.
Starting the ZR 800
Plug the power cord into an AC 220 V~ 50 Hz socket. Do not connect the power cord into another source.
Use the device only with the nominal voltages stated on the device plate. if you are not sure
about the type of power source inside your household, refer to the product vendor or your local
power company.
After connecting the device to a power source:
1. Switch the
main switch
on the rear side of the device to
ON
. The red
Power
indicator will come on,
indicating standby mode.
2. Press the
[POWER]
button to turn the device ON.
if you do not intend to use the device for a longer period of time, switch the
main switch
to
OFF
and unplug the power cord from the socket.
USiNG ThE ZR 800
Press the Power button on the device. Turn on the equipment you would like to listen to.
After the device has turned off, the source, 3D mode and volume will be set to their default values.
Source mode option
Set the input to the source you would like to listen to. Press the
[SOURCE]
button to change the source mode
of the device.
