A smell appears
•
Carefully pack any food that can cause a smell.
•
Check that none of the food is spoiled.
•
Clean the refrigerator.
The compressor does not turn off for a long time
•
In summer, at high room temperatures, it is common for the compressor to run for a long time.
•
We recommend not to place large amounts of uncooled food all at once into the refrigerator.
•
We recommend to place only pre-cooled foods.
•
The door of the refrigerator is frequently open.
The lighting does not work
•
Check that the refrigerator is correctly connected to the socket.
•
In the case of failure, contact the service department.
The door cannot be closed
•
The shelves on the door are overloaded.
•
The refrigerator is tilted. Level the position of the refrigerator.
The refrigerator is noisy
Check that:
•
The appliance is in a horizontal and stable position.
•
It is not in contact with the rear side.
•
Parts of the appliance do not vibrate.
The seals in the door do not fi t tightly
•
Clean any dirt from the seals.
•
By warming and then cooling the sealing, the sealing capability should be restored. Use a hairdryer or
a warm towel to warm the sealing.
Water is in the lower part of the refrigerator
•
There is too much food in the cooler part.
•
The door is not correctly closed and does not fi t tightly, which causes freezing of the rear part of the cooler
compartment.
High temperature in the rear part of the refrigerator
•
Increased temperature in the heat exchanger and in the surrounding part of the refrigerator and the
compressor is normal. In the case of excessive heating in the summer months, reduce the temperature in
the room by ventilation and do not place a large amount of uncooled food all at once in the refrigerator.
Water condensation on the surface
•
In the case of an increase of the moisture in the room, water may condense on the surface of the refrigerator
and on the sealing. Wipe away the condensed water with a cloth.
The refrigerator is noisy
Cooling gas, which circulates in the refrigerator, may cause a slight noise (bubbling sound) even when the
compressor is not running. The compressor vibrates when in operation. Do not worry, this is completely normal.
