CHARACTER - The EBS TD650 provides
a preshape filter, C haracter , which operates
independently from the filter section and
BYPASS switch. This gives the user the
opportunity to preshape the sound before
the final processing with the filters.
When pressed to it’s inner position, a
boost is achieved in both the bass and treble
ranges, while the midrange is being slightly
cut.
CHARACTER - EBS TD650 är försedd

I intryckt läge ger detta filter ett klart ökat

som mellanregistret dämpas något.
FILTER - Filterdelen erbjuder dig fyra
högeffektiva filter:
BASS är ett faskompenserat 12dB/-oktav
rent lågpassfilter med mycket stor
förstärkning.
MIDDLE har en bred frekvensinställning
från 50-3k Hz. Detta filter ger en optimal
kontroll över mellanregistret med ett
naturligt ljud utan ”fula” klipptendenser. I
minimiläget ger det här filtret en notch
funktion vilket gör det möjligt att effektivt
kapa oönskade frekvenser.
TREBLE är ett bandpass-filter omkring 5
kHz. som kontrollerar högre mellan- och
diskantregister med ett klart och naturligt
sound som resultat.
BRIGHT är ett mycket avancerat
effektfilter som tar fram övertoner och
strängklang utan att lägga till störande brus.
FILTERS - The filter section contains four
enhanced performance filters:
BASS is a 'shelving' type 12dB/oct slope
phase compensated bass filter with a wide
gain range.
MIDDLE has an extended frequency
range of 50-3k Hz. This filter facilitates
total control over the mids, with a wide
bandwidth giving a natural and non-peaking
result. In addition, at minimum setting this
filter facilitates a notch function, suitable
for cutting an exact frequency.
TREBLE is a 'bell' type filter peaking at 5
kHz controlling the higher mids and treble
registers, giving presence and ambiance to
the sound.
BRIGHT is an advanced high pass filter
capable of producing bright high treble
timbre, without adding practically any
noise.
VOLUME - The VOLUME knob controls
all volume in the unit, controlling the
poweramp and LINE output. The balanced
output (XLR) is not affected by the setting
of this knob.

BALANCED OUTPUT - Is a high quality
balanced output. Designed electronically
floating, which means the output always
will adapt itself when sending to an
asymmetrical device such as an unbalanced
input, to keep a correct level with high
noise immunity.
The balanced output functions as a line
box for connecting to PA mixing consoles
or to studio or broadcast recording units.
Lifting ground is a great aid in many
occasions. When required, set the
Gnd Lift
switch at the front panel to inner position to
disconnect the ground from the output.
The
Post Eq switch at the front selects the
signal source. In the inner position this
switch selects the overall sound included
effects, otherwise, in the lower position an
uncolored sound is taken immediately after
the input and gain sections.
The EBS TD650 features a speaker
simulator for the balanced output. This
feature is tuned together with a speaker
cabinet in order to send the same sound
image from the head as heard on stage.
Press the Spkr Sim button to activate the
speaker simulator.
VOLUME - Utgångsvolymen VOLUME
kontrollerar all volym genom förstärkaren
fram till slutsteget och LINE utgången. Den
balanserade utgången (XLR) påverkas dock
ej.

BALANCED OUTPUT
- Är en
linjeutgång av mycket hög kvalitet. Denna
utgång innehåller en elektroniskt
flytande
balansering som vid asymmetrisk
mottagning i t.ex. en obalanserad ingång, är
självjusterande för att alltid ge en perfekt
signalöverföring.
Den balanserande utgången fungerar som
en linebox och kan anslutas till t.ex. PA-
mixers eller studioinspelningsutrustning.
Jordlyft är till stor hjälp när jordbrum
uppstår. Ställ
Gnd Lift omkopplaren i
intryckt läge för att koppla bort jorden.
Post Eq omkopplaren väljer vilken signal
som skall sändas. I intryckt läge tappas hela
ljudbilden av inklusive effekter, medan det
uttryckta läget väljer ljudet direkt efter
ingångens GAIN kontroll.
EBS TD650 innehåller en högtalarsimu-
lator för den balanserade utgången. Den här
funktionen är kalibrerad mot en högtalar-
kabinett för att samma ljudspektrum sänds
iväg från förstärkaren som ljudet som hörs
live. Tryck in knappen märkt Spkr Sim för
att aktivera högtalarsimulatorn.
