Industrial safety helmet attachment (Table K):

EAVE WORK MKI ear defenders are certified for use with the helmet detailed in table K

of this document.

Explanation of the industrial safety helmet attachment table:

1. Helmet manufacturer

2. Helmet model

4. Head size: S = Small, M = Medium, L = Large

Explanation of the attenuation data table (Table L):

1. Frequency (Hz)

2. Mean attenuation (dB)

3. Standard deviation (dB)

4. Assumed Protection Value, APV (

α

 = 1)(dB)

Explanation of criterion levels (Table M):

Criterion level is the sound pressure level in dB(A) of the noise environment resulting in a

sound level of 85 dB(A) effective to the ear while wearing the hearing protectors. Three

different criterion levels are defined related to the frequent content of the noise.

H = criterion level for high frequency noise.

M = criterion level for medium frequency noise.

L = criterion level for low frequency noise.

These  helmet  mounted  hearing  protectors  are  suitable  for  persons  with  medium

to large headsize circumference (56-61 cm) and with medium to large height from the

top of the head to the centre of the ear canal. A smaller height may lead to improper

fit and may reduce the hearing protector’s noise attenuation properties.
