Perform the LOAD OFF procedure in Section 7.4.18. The input, output, and bypass backfeed
contactors open, the battery breaker or disconnect is tripped, and the power module is turned off.
WARNING
Power is present inside the UPS cabinet until the upstream input feeder circuit breaker is
opened.

If the UPS contains input breaker CB1, open the UPS input breaker CB1.
4.
Open the UPS input and bypass feeder circuit breakers.
7.4.17 Charger control
To turn the battery charger on or off, perform the following procedure:

Press the LOCK icon on the main screen. The Sign In screen is displayed. Use operator password
to log in (factory default password is 0101)

Select CONTROLS on the main screen. SYSTEM CONTROLS screen opens up.

Select EAA CONTROLS.

The UPS Charger can be stopped or started by selecting START CHARGER / STOP CHARGER. (To
control the charger of a single UPM, instead of EAA CONTROLS, select MODULE CONTROLS and
then the choose the desired UPM.)
7.4.18 Using the UPS LOAD OFF
A UPS Load Off is initiated by the selecting LOAD OFF from the SYSTEM CONTROLS screen. This de-
energizes the critical load and powers down the UPS. The UPS (including Bypass) remains off until
restarted.
To use LOAD OFF:

Select CONTROLS on the main screen. SYSTEM CONTROLS screen opens up.
CAUTION
All power to the critical load is lost when the LOAD OFF is selected in the following step. You
should use this feature only when you want to de-energize the critical load.

Select LOAD OFF. Command confirmation pop-up screen will show up asking confirmation for the
action. Select YES. The input, output, and bypass backfeed contactors open, the battery breaker or
disconnect is tripped, and all the UPMs are turned off.
