4.0 MAINTENANCE
During the working life of the unit, it should require little or no

aintenance. GRP will resist attack by
m
ost
acids, alkalis and che
m
icals and is as resistant to concentrated acids and alkalis as
m
ost
m
etal products.
However, if abnor
m
al or unusual environ
m
ental conditions occur due to plant da
m
age or accident etc.,
then visual inspection is reco
mm
ended.
If the unit requires cleaning, then only clean exterior with a da
m
p cloth to avoid electro-static charge build up.
If a unit fault should occur, then the unit can be repaired by MEDC. All parts of the unit are replaceable.
If you acquired a significant quantity of units, then it is reco
mm
ended that spares are also
m
ade
available. Please discuss your require

ents with the Technical Sales Engineers at MEDC.
