3. Unit operation
The daily operation and management of the unit should be carried out by special personnel, and the operation
should be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations and checked before powering on.
3.1 Common tools
1. Common tools for refrigeration.
2. Multimeter (level 3 or above).
3. Clamp ammeter (level 5 or above).
4. R410A special pressure gauge (high pressure range 0 to 5.5 MPA, low pressure range 0 to 2.5 MPA, with
three-way valve, gauge tube, high / low pressure gauge).
5. 500V insulation tester (megohmmeter)
3.2 Power supply and instrument inspection
•
Check whether the distribution capacity matches the power of the unit before the first start-up, and whether
the selected cable can withstand the maximum working current of the unit.
•
Check whether the distribution power supply is in line with the unit nameplate power requirements.
•
Check whether the terminal of each line of the electric control box is tightened (the joint may be loose due to
long-distance transportation, handling and unloading and other factors). If it is loose, please tighten it again.
Otherwise, it may lead to damage to the electrical components (such as transformers, AC contactors, etc.)
and compressors in the electric control box of the unit. Check whether the electric control instruments and
appliances are installed correctly, completed and working effectively.
•
Carefully check all electrical lines with a multimeter to check that the wiring is properly installed; measure with
megohmmeters to make sure there is no shell short circuit; check that the grounding wire is properly installed
and that the insulation resistance to the ground is greater than 2 MΩ; check that the power cord meets the
capacity requirements.
•
Check whether the circuit breaker is installed on the power cord of the supply unit.
3.3 Refrigeration system inspection
•
Check whether the set values of high and low pressure are normal.
•
Turn on the power supply 12 ~ 24 hours ahead of time after the first start-up or long-term shutdown to preheat
the compressor.
•
Check the power cord of the unit, indoor and outdoor mechanical and electrical power lines, communication
lines. The compressor should be able to turn on normally.
3.4 Unit commissioning
Refrigeration
1. The display sets the return air temperature lower than the ambient temperature, the compressor and the
outdoor fan are started, and the system is refrigerated.
2. During the start-up of the compressor, the change of the high and low pressure gauge should be observed, the
low pres- sure decreases and the high pressure rises. If there is no change in pressure, the machine should be
stopped immediately.
3. If any abnormal situation is found during the start-up of the compressor, it should be stopped in time, other-
wise the com- pressor shall not be started again.
4. The clamp ammeter is used to measure the running current of the outdoor unit. The running current is required
to be less than the rated current. Make sure the outdoor unit has the same sound and vibration.
