General Operation
1.
This scale operates on 3 ‘AAA’ batteries, which are included. Please
see “Battery Installation” section of this manual for installation
instructions. Also, some models have a static cling label on the lens to
prevent scratching. Please remove before use.
2.
Your scale has been set at the factory to read weight in pounds.
You may select kilogram units of measurement or stone units of
measurement (14 pounds = 1 stone) by pressing the “UNIT” button
on the bottom of the scale.

Place scale on flat, hard surface. Carpeted or uneven floors may affect
accuracy.
4.
Step on the scale (disregarding the reading) and step off. This process
insures the scale is set and is now ready for use. At all other times step
straight onto the scale.
5.
Step onto the scale platform and remain still. The display will show
“0.0” then count up to your weight. The display will flash two times
when the weight is locked. Your weight is now displayed.
6.
The scale will turn off automatically.
OPERATION
Important:
Your EatSmart scale operates with "Step-On"
technology but still needs to be auto-calibrated after battery
installation or after the scale is moved, to ensure accuracy.
Firmly press the glass platform to activate the scale but DO
NOT stand on the platform. Allow the scale to read '0.0' and
wait for it to turn off. Your scale is now calibrated and you can
step on and weigh yourself normally.
Weight Only Operation
This scale will operate as a conventional weight scale. No special
programming steps are required. Once the scale is initialized, as
previously described, you may simply step on the scale to measure your
current weight.

Position the scale on a flat, hard surface. Carpeted or uneven floors
may affect accuracy.
2.
Step onto the scale platform and remain still while the scale measures
your weight.
3.
Wait for the scale to display your weight then step off.
4.
The scale will automatically turn off after about 10 seconds.
NOTE:
During initial setup the scale will automatically shut down
after 70 seconds of inactivity.
PROGRAM USER ID & HEIGHT
1. Setting Memory:
When the display is OFF:
•
Press the [
SET
] key to initiate setup. A
Memory User ID will blink.
• Press the [
t
] or [
u
] key to select a memory
location (P1- P4). Press [
SET
] to confirm.
2. Set Height:
•
Press the [
t
] or [
u
] key to adjust the height.
Press [
SET
] to confirm.
3. Confirm Data:
•
After setting the personal information, step on
the platform when the scale displays “
0.0
”
4. Adding Other Users:
•
Repeat steps 1-3 to set other pre-programmed user numbers.
Note:
If it identifies two users or more, the identified User ID will
blink 4 times. The LCD will display as shown in the picture.
When the display is ON:
•
Press and hold the [
SET
] key for 4 seconds to
initiate setup. A Memory User ID will blink.
• Press the [
t
] or [
u
] key to select a memory
location (P1- P4). Press [
SET
] to confirm.
