protect the uncoated area.
It is recommended that you wash your boat and trailer at the ramp after salt water immersion to
prolong the life of the trailer. Even salt residues dripping from your boat onto the trailer causes a
reaction with the zinc surface whilst drying. One of the biggest causes of zinc deteriorations is
washing your trailer and garaging it whilst still wet, your trailer needs to be fully dry before storing
your boat in an enclosed space.
