NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid
over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot sur-
faces. Do not wrap the mains cable around the article (danger
of the cable breaking).

The article should only be used if it has been completely and
correctly assembled!

Never pull or carry the device by the mains cable.
■
Protect the article from heat, naked

ames, extreme tempera-
tures, persistent moisture, wet conditions and collisions.

Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer.

Do not place or lay any heavy objects on the mains cable.

Before Initial Use
Remove the foils and transport guards and make sure that the
product contents are complete (see chapter “Product contents and
article overview”) and check for any damages from transport. If
you identify damages to the components, do not use them (!), in-
stead contact our customer service centre.
Use
1. Place the article on a dry, even surface.
2. Turn the lamp head (

) to the position you want. The lamp can
be in
fi
nitely adjusted using the
fl
exible lamp (

) neck.
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket that
is easily accessible.
4. Switch on the article by moving the On / Off switch (

) to the
I
position.
5. To switch it off, move the On / Off switch (

) to the
0
position.
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before cleaning
the article.
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaners to clean the
housing. They could damage the surface. If needed, clean the
housing with a damp, soft cloth.
• Clean the article if necessary using a soft, dry cloth.
• Store the article in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to
children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the article does not work properly, check whether you are able to
rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with
the steps that are listed, contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective

yourself!
