Inserting Batteries

Four 1.5 V batteries of type C are required for battery mode.

cover on the bottom of the device:
Press the fastener on the battery
compartment cover and open up the
battery compartment cover.

2.  Before inserting the batteries, check

whether the contacts in the battery
compartment (

8

) and on the batter-

ies are clean, and clean them if nec-
essary.

3.  Insert four 1.5 V batteries, type C into the battery compartment.

Ensure the correct polarity  (+ / –).

4.  Insert the battery compartment cover and

fl

ip it shut until it can

be heard to engage in place.

Replace the batteries when the power of the device starts to wane.

PLEASE NOTE!

Always replace all batteries together. Do not use

batteries of different types or brands, or batteries with different ca-
pacities.

Use

PLEASE NOTE

Do not connect the device to a computer because the high cur-

operation. For mains power mode, plug the Micro B connector
of the USB cable into the USB socket (

rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with
the steps that are listed, contact the customer service department.

Do not attempt to repair a defective

yourself!

If the device does not work, check the following:
•  In mains power mode:

Are the device, USB cable and mains adapter connected to
one another correctly?

Is the mains adapter inserted in the plug socket correctly?

Does the mains adapter correspond to the technical data of
the device?

Is the plug socket defective? Try another socket.

Check the fuse of the mains connection.

•  In battery mode: Are no batteries inserted, or are the batteries

inserted incorrectly, or are they too weak?

•  Is there water in the water tank (

12

) and is the lamella

insert (

11

) moist?

•  Is the impeller (

10

) blocked?
