Framing The Floor

Assemble the frame using 1 1/2” x 7 1/4” pressure-treated material. You will need two boards
cut to 10’ that will be the rim joist and two boards cut to 7’-9” that will be the joist.

Using 1 1/2 “ x 7 1/4 “ pressure-treated material, cut 7 joists and install them
as shown in the illustration.

Secure the beams with 3x5" wood screws. Fasten the joists to the skids with 8x3" wood screws.

Using a speed square or carpenter's square, check the corners to make sure th

are 90 degrees.
