Adjusting the 5 V DC POWER SUPPLY Voltage - Serial No. below 100500

Warning

Dangerous Voltage

[1] De-energize the PROCESSOR.

[2] Allow the PROCESSOR to remain off for one full

minute.

[3] Rotate the POTENTIOMETER fully

counterclockwise and in small increments.

Note

If you increase the voltage to more than approximately
6.0 volts, the internal over-voltage protection reduces
the voltage through the POWER SUPPLY to 0 volts.
If you need to reset the POWER SUPPLY, do the steps
below.

[4] Energize the PROCESSOR.

[5] Connect a METER to the plus (+) and minus (-)

TERMINALS on the TERMINAL BLOCK.

[6] Rotate the POTENTIOMETER clockwise until you

obtain a reading of 5.50 volts.

Note

Rotate the POTENTIOMETER clockwise to increase
the volts, or counterclowise to decrease the voltage.

[7] Assemble the PROCESSOR.
